I’m delighted to welcome you to the Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust (LDST). Our Trust was formed following a period of consultation, in which it became clear that our schools wanted the Board of Education to take a strategic leadership role in the academisation programme. From the start our aim has been to keep the family of schools together, with Jesus at the very heart of them.
Our family of schools has a long history of excellence combined with nurture; developing in young people the resilience and character needed for life. Embracing the opportunities that academisation provides, as a Diocesan-led multi academy Trust, we seek to extend and enrich this further, through stronger bonds of collaboration and the researching and sharing of best practice in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
We are a growing family of 16 schools serving the whole Diocese of Liverpool. By building effective relationships between our schools and by encouraging our schools to engage fully in networks, we believe that we can overcome disadvantage, raise attainment and ensure schools improve together. Through our core values of collaboration, inclusion, valuing the local and celebrating difference, we offer a vision of excellence and academic rigour and are committed to providing children of all faiths and non, a high quality education and environment where Christian values and principles permeate all that we do. Our schools are inclusive communities where all are welcome and all are part of the family.
The Liverpool Diocesan Schools Trust is a place that welcomes, enables, values and encourages forward-thinking, resilient learners and professionals in both CofE schools and community schools, who, like Jesus, aim to grow in wisdom and stature.
