Christian Distinctiveness and Character Education

 

We aim to live out our Christian values and develop future citizens who can contribute positively to a caring, compassionate nation.

 

Priorities:

  • Develop an ambitious Trust Personal Development  Curriculum to ensure learners can make a positive contribution to society
  • Christian Character development
  • Promote a culture that ensures pupils and staff sustain positive mental health and wellbeing

 

Excellent Education

 

We aim to provide an inspirational curriculum and excellent teaching, rooted in evidence-informed practice, that enables our learners to acquire a deep body of knowledge and a zest for life-long learning.

 

Priorities:

  • Ensure all learners have an education that gives them the best start in life from Early Years to Post 18, regardless of starting points
  • Develop an ambitious Trust curriculum approach, underpinned by strong basic knowledge and skills so that every learner a reader, a writer, a mathematician
  • Ensure all learners have access to excellent teaching and learning

 

Achievement for All

 

We aim to celebrate diversity, address inequality, overcome disadvantage and raise aspirations, so that all learners make excellent progress and fulfil their academic potential.

 

Priorities:

  • Embed a Trust Inclusion Strategy with a trauma-informed, planned approach to overcoming barriers for pupils
  • Overcome poverty and social inequalities, through a Trust strategy and ambition for Pupil Premium
  • Embed a Trust Behaviour and Attitudes Strategy
  • Ensure that all staff understand the role they play in meetings the needs of SEND pupils

 

People

 

We aim to be an employer of choice, through a people strategy that provides high-quality CPD, support and career pathways for all staff, so they can undertake their roles effectively in our inclusive learning community.

 

Priorities:

  • Develop a deliberate professional development strategy with DPD and career expectations for all staff
  • Growing leaders through career pathways opportunities, coaching and mentoring
  • Develop an Equality Diversity Inclusion (EDI) Strategy
