The Governors at Huyton with Roby wish to appoint 4 SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible.

Under the direction of the SENCO and Class Teacher you would be required to provide support for children with additional needs. Other duties include:

• Supporting children that are unable to access the mainstream curriculum within our Hub provision
• To work on children individual target and needs updating play plans, ISP and working on Education Health and Care Plan targets.
• To be able to work without direct supervision of the teacher

The ideal candidate will have had some experience of working with children with ADHD/ASC and be enthusiastic, conscientious and self-motivated. They will have a patient, nurturing nature and be effective in promoting concentration and good learning behaviour.

We are looking for 4 SEND Teaching Assistants
Working Pattern: 32 Hours per week, Monday – Friday, 39 weeks per year
Salary: Pay Band D SCP 5-6 £25,584 - £25,989 FTE Pro rata (Actual salary approx. £19,464, - £19,957 per annum)
Plus SEND Allowance £1539 per annum FTE Pro rata
Contract: Permanent post to start as soon as possible – linked to funding
